Worship Services at First Mennonite Church begin at 10:30 a.m. and typically last an hour. All are welcome. Our worship is based on the Anabaptist/Mennonite principle of the fellowship of all believers, where many lay people are involved with the leadership and direction of each worship service, along with the church staff and pastors. The service’s scripture and theme is usually designed around the Revised Common Lectionary. Typical services include a sermon, congregational hymn singing, community prayer, scripture reading, conversation with children, special music, responsive reading, and an offering. While our services are open to all ages, there is a nursery available downstairs for any who may need it.
