Originally from the Cleveland area, I came to Bluffton University (College) in 1987 and basically never left Bluffton. After graduating with a Music degree, I married Beth (Suter) who grew up in this church. We have one son, Andrew.

I have been directing the Handbell Choirs here at First Mennonite since 1993. While I continue with these choirs, I have added a few things to my list of duties. With the start of the COVID pandemic, the church knew we needed to increase and strengthen our online capabilities and presence. I help coordinate a more visible Social Media presence with the help of other church members, as well as manage the weekly online streaming of our Worship Service, which can be found on our website. While I may not have an immediate answer to your technology questions at First Mennonite, I am the person you can ask, and I will find the answer for you.
